Bollywood news : Fatwa issued for Jimmy Shergil

In breaking Bollywood news, famous Bollywood actor Jimmy Shergil has been issued a Fatwa by Muslim community for his acting in movie named Shorgul which has been bannd in many cities of Uttar Pradesh.

Film makers in distress are planning on meeting UP Chief minister Akhilesh Yadav to resolve the issue of releasing the movie in cities like Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Lucknow and Mujaffarnagar.

As per Bollywood news and Gossips, the fatwa has been issued by Khamman Peer Baba Committee to Jimmy and the makers of the movie and it states “a seasoned actor like Jimmy has hurt the sentiments of the Muslim community by enacting scenes that will cause unrest in the community through the dialogues and scene depictions, Jimmy will be barred from shooting in Uttar Pradesh and his film’s release in the region will also not be allowed.”

The featured movie Shorgul emphasis upon grave subjects that have emerged in the current past such as the Muzaffarnagar, Godhra and Babri Masjid disturbances apart from making references to governmental misdoings, mind games and debatable moves of some high profile notables.

Per Indian politics news, a PIL was also filed against the movie by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Milan Som which was dismissed by Allahabad High Court bench in Lucknow.

While producers are in angst and planning to seek help of UP chief minister, famous Bollywood actor Jimmy Shergill is busy shooting in Canada.
